Please join us for a four-day institute to learn about the science of epidemiology!

  1. Get expert instruction from an epidemiologist to uncover, explore, and develop enduring epidemiological understandings aligned to the National and State standards.

  2. Capture student curiosity by using inductive and deductive reasoning and epidemiological sleuthing.

  3. Increase critical thinking skills that empower students with a way to understand and explore the world in which they live.

  4. Develop strategies for scientific, mathematical, health, and media literacy and appreciation of the scientific method.

  5. Introduce students to a variety of public health career paths.

  1. Lodging for 3 nights at the beautiful Sierra Nevada College / TERC

  2. All meals and workshop materials

  3. $300 stipend paid at completion of classroom implementation
