San Joaquin County Science Fair

Welcome to the San Joaquin County Office Science Fair Website!

Each year the San Joaquin County awards thousands of dollars to students and teachers who exhibit superior levels of understanding and articulation in the area of science.  Top students proceed to the State Science Fair held each year in Southern California.

This site is provided to help teachers, administrators, and parents, prepare their students for the San Joaquin County Science Fair.  The Information on Projects tab along the top, will answer any questions regarding classification of projects and award categories.  Important Forms contains links to register online for professional development and the science fair as well as down- loadable forms for mailing or faxing. The Guidelines page provides a plethora of information to be used when working on the project. The Resources page has links to helpful websites for students and additional links for teachers who may be undertaking the daunting task of holding a science fair at their school site.  The Judging page allows teachers, judges, and parents to see exactly what we will be judging so that their project can be aligned to meet the criteria.  The Photos page is a collection of photos from the previous year’s science fair.  And finally the State Science fair page is information offered to help our finalists prepare for the State Competition in May.
