Being a new member of the  SanJoaquin  Partners in Astronomy Consortium for Educators (S.P.A.C.E.) allows access to checking out the Star Lab systems including training for three teachers free of charge.  In addition you will be provided with:
 
*Astronomy content training to assist with your student  presentation
 
*Interdisciplinary units to be used for multiple subjects
 
*Access to Astronomy related curricula to check out
 
* Supplemental materials, curricula and updates as available
 
* Connections to astronomers (for possible school presentations)
 
* A 15%discount at NASCO
 
*Current consortium members are eligible for further teacher training at only $50 per teacher. Consortium members who have already been trained on the original system may be retrained on the Digital system for only $25
 
Membership is only a one time fee of $125

DIGITAL STAR LAB TRAINING SEPT.  17TH 8:30-11:30
There will be a  digital star lab training in the morning with a training on the old  system in the afternoon. The cost of retraining is $25 and covers the cost of materials, breakfast and lunch.  For those who have never been trained, there is a one time fee of $125 to join the consortium and includes the training of 3 teachers. Spaces are limited  Click here for online sign up! Oak Grove Star Parties with the Astronomical Society
Join the Stockton Astronomical Society in conjunction with Oak Grove Park for Astronomy Day , October 1, 2011 from 6:30-10:00pm.  This is a free event!

STARTING SPARKS PROGRAM
